BET adds more performers to its awards show lineup

With just five days to go, BET Awards 17 is adding more names to its performer lineup.
     
The latest additions include Mary J. Blige, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Maxwell and reunited girl group Xscape.
     
They join such previously announced hit makers as Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Migos, Future and Tamar Braxton.  
     
Concurrently, Remy Ma and Irv Gotti have signed on as presenters, sharing duties with Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah and Jamie Foxx.
     
Beyoncé leads with seven nominations, followed by Bruno Mars with five nods and Solange, Chance the Rapper and Migos with four nominations apiece.
     
Receiving special tributes will be Chance the Rapper (Humanitarian Award) and New Edition (Lifetime Achievement Award).  
     
Comedian Leslie Jones will host the BET Awards for the first time.
     
BET Networks will air the show live on June 25 at 8:00 p.m. from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
