Album sales for Childish Gambino have spiked after he sparked a national conversation following the release of his latest single, This Is America.
His album sales have spiked up by 419 per cent and his streams have gone up 487 per cent.
The controversial video for This Is America pushed the song to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and has helped all three of his albums re-enter the Billboard 200.
The spike solidifies Gambino's streak for success.
Apart from being a musician, the artiste is also an actor, writer and director, known in those circles by his given name, Donald Glover.
