Dancehall artiste Harry Toddler is seeking financial assistance for his teenage daughter, who is scheduled to undergo heart surgery on July 16, at Boston Children's Hospital in the United States.
The entertainer made a heartfelt appeal on social media, asking his supporters to contribute towards the cause, as his daughter's life and future depend on it.
Toddler noted that, despite having a heart condition, his daughter lives an active life.
However, her condition took a turn for the worse recently.
He said that at least US$20,000 (J$2,650,592) is urgently needed to cover the cost of the operation as well as travel and accommodation.
The child lives in Bermuda but typically spends the summer holidays in Jamaica with him.
