Mr. Vegas set to release new album

Controversial dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas is gearing up to release a new album.

The project, titled ISM, will feature 12 tracks.

The entire album sticks to classical roots reggae music apart from the final track, the playful dancehall cut Wakanda Jam - inspired by the mythical African kingdom portrayed in the hit movie Black Panther - and Love Up There, an uplifting message set to a gentle uptempo riddim.

ISM is set for a July 27 release date.

The singjay is credited as executive producer for this production.

He said ISM will clear up any misconceptions listeners have about his religious stance.

Vegas released his debut gospel album Soul Therapy last year, a few months after dropping the secular This is Dancehall album.
