NBC "fires" Trump

NBC announced on Monday that it was severing ties with the 2016 presidential hopeful in the wake of  his recent highly controvcersial negative comments about Mexican immigrants.       

The network said it will no longer carry the Trump-produced Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, nor will he return to the long-running reality show “The Celebrity Apprentice” as host.  

    
During his speech presidential campaign announcement, Trump referred to Mexicans as drug-smuggling rapists and blamed the Mexican Government for allowing them to cross the border into America.
