Snoop Dogg cleared of charges in concert railing collapse suit

Rapper Snoop Dogg has been cleared of the lawsuit against him for causing fan injuries when a barricade collapsed at a 2016 concert.

At Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s August 5 show in Camden, New Jersey, 42 concert-goers were injured when a front row railing broke, resulting in three venue employees and 14 fans suing both artistes.

Though Wiz Khalifa’s team and Live Nation who operates the venue is still fighting against the lawsuit, Snoop Dogg’s team was able to convince a judge to drop the charges because the rapper resides in California and the suit was filed in Pennsylvania.

The incident reportedly occurred when the rappers gestured fans to move towards the stage, causing the partition to collapse and the front row to fall about 10 feet.
