Women's group plans air protest over Sony regarding R. Kelly

Women's rights group UltraViolet has announced plans to fly an airplane with a banner protesting R. Kelly over Sony Music offices in California, Friday, calling on imprint RCA Records to drop the singer.

The banner is scheduled to fly over the major label's Southern California headquarters reading, "RCA/SONY: DROP SEXUAL PREDATOR R KELLY".

Last year, UltraViolet spoke up supporting Spotify's decision to remove R. Kelly from its editorially curated playlists.

Spotify eventually reversed its decision to punish artistes for such action.

Kelly has denied all accusations against him.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly's career is not taking a hit from the release of the Lifetime docuseries last week.

He sold out a Chicago appearance less than an hour tickets went in sale.
