Claro extends life of prepaid phone credit
Effective Friday September 3, telecoms service provider Claro Jamaica will adjust the lifespan of its prepaid phone credit.
The activation period will move to a minimum of 30 days on a top up of $100 and a maximum of 90 days on a top up of $2,500.
A top up of $100 will still require additional credit after 7 days for customers to continue enjoying unlimited free calling and texting to their selected numbers.
The adjustments are in response to concerns raised by Claro customers at a previous change which resulted in a reduction in the activation period.
