Culture Minister saddened by death of Franklyn "Chappie" St. Juste

Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange has expressed sadness at the death of Franklyn St. Juste.
 
He is the father of veteran broadcaster Francois St. Juste.
 
Minister Grange described St. Juste's contribution to the Jamaican stage, film and television industries as invaluable.
 
She said "Chappie", as he is affectionately called, was a master of stage and lighting, a filmmaker and television producer, and a teacher.
 
Ms Grange also noted that he played a major role in the development of lighting, film and television professionals in Jamaica and across the Caribbean.
 
At the time of his death, he had been leading a process to repatriate Jamaican films which have been found in databases overseas.
