Hedonism workers unionised
Workers at the popular Hedonism Resorts in Negril, Westmoreland are to get union representation.
In a representational rights poll at the resort on Thursday, line staff voted overwhelmingly to be represented by the National Workers Union (NWU).
Of the 117 line staff to vote, 116 gave the NWU the nod to represent them in negotiations with management.
Supervisory personnel on the other hand selected the Union of Clerical, Administrative and Supervisory Employees (UCASE) to represent them.
Thirty six of the 37 supervisory staff who voted selected UCASE as the union to represent them to management.
UCASE is an affiliate of the NWU.
