PanJam Investment increases profits

PanJam Investment has increased profits on stronger investment and property income.

Net profit for the quarter ended September 30 amounted to $1.9 billion, an increase of 59 per cent relative to the corresponding period in 2017.

Income from PanJam's core operations more than doubled when compared to the third quarter of 2017.

This performance was driven by a substantial improvement in investment income, which grew to $1.1 billion as a result of higher foreign exchange and unrealised trading gains.

Property income increased by 19 per cent to $462.3 million due to higher rental and net lease income, and property revaluation gains.
