PIOJ: Most sectors in goods producing industry declined in December Qtr

The Planning Institute of  Jamaica says during the October to December quarter most sectors in the goods producing industry recorded declines.

Lower real value added was estimated for Agriculture, Forestry & Fishing down 11%; while mining and quarrying declined 2.2% and manufacturing suffered a 2.5% dip.

However, the construction sector increased by 1.2%.
