Red Stripe reports savings of more than $42 million

Red Stripe is reporting more than J$42 million in savings in the first year since expanding its export capabilities with the introduction of a new production line powered by liquid natural gas (LNG). 
 
According to Neville Alexander, the company's technical operations manager, the plant's LNG conversion has boosted production by 50 per cent.
 
It also reduced CO2 emissions by 6000 tonnes, and increased its electrical and steam output by 30 per cent.
