The unemployment rate is at an all time low.
The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) released the latest labour force survey results on Wednesday.
As at April 2019, Jamaica's jobless rate dropped to 7.8 per cent - two per cent lower than it was at this time last year.
STATIN says 29,900 more people were employed in April this year when compared to April 2018.
It brings the total labour force to 1.3 million people.
