Buju Banton’s trial date pushed back
Buju Banton.
It seems there is no quick solution to reggae artiste, Buju Banton’s problems.
Just as he was looking forward to his upcoming trial on Wednesday, he was informed that it has been pushed back until the end of September.
The DJ, who was slated to stand trial on September One, will now go before the courts September 30, where his case will officially be mentioned.
Buju Banton has been behind bars since December 10 last year after he was arrested and charged with conspiracy with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine as well as possession of a firearm.
In the meantime, his ninth studio album dubbed "before the dawn" is scheduled to hit stores on September 28.
