Popcaan arrested after fight in the Bahamas
The new dancehall artiste Andre Sutherland better known as Popcaan was arrested in the Bahamas on Monday after being involved in a fight.
The 22-year old artiste was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
It is understood that the artiste was arrested by the Bahamian police along with two members of the Portmore Empire after an altercation at the Lynden Pindling International Airport.
According to the Bahamian authorities, the fight occurred between the three musicians and a Bahamian pilot for Spirit Airlines.
Police reports stated that several offenders damaged property and assaulted a passenger who was also scheduled to travel on the Air Jamaica flight.
The flight was delayed for several hours because of the altercation.
A number of charges were filed against Popcaan and the others entertainers including assault, wounding and destruction of personal property.
