Sizzla tour cancelled due to pressure from homosexual community
Members of the gay and lesbian community are again making their voices heard when it comes to reggae artistes with anti-gay messages.
The latest Jamaican act to face the verbal outbursts is reggae artiste Sizzla Kalonji who is his European tour.
The 34-year old artiste, whose give name is Miguel Collins, was scheduled to perform at this years Chiemsee Reggae Summer in Germany which the artiste recently found out was cancelled.
It was understood that there was heavy pressure for several weeks from gay groups and politicians.
The decision to cancel the tour was because of safety reasons as they could not guarantee the safety for festival-goers, as a huge amount of protestors planned to attend the festival during Sizzla's performance.
However, Sizzla's fans may see him on stage very soon, as he is scheduled to perform in Europe in September and Japan in October.
