A Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas of Portland, St. Mary, Kingston & St. Andrew, and St. Catherine until 5pm today.
The Meterological Service says the trough across Jamaica and the southwestern Caribbean Sea continues to produce unstable weather conditions across the island.
It says, although satellite imagery and rainfall reports indicated reduced rainfall last night throughout this morning, the forecast is for mostly cloudy conditions with periods of showers and thunderstorms to continue to affect sections of most parishes today, especially during the afternoon.
