Constant Spring Market vendors protest against their proposed relocation on August 20, 2018.
The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) has requested an additional seven days to respond to a relocation proposal made by vendors at the Constant Spring Market.
The request was made in a letter, dated September 14, from its lawyers written to the attorney representing the vendors.
The vendors have proposed that they be relocated to lands behind the current site of the market.
The market is to be demolished to facilitate the expansion of Constant Spring Road.
