Effective July 1, 2019, LATAM Airlines will commence nonstop direct flights from Peru to Montego Bay.
The airline will operate three weekly flights to Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport from the airline's hub in Lima, Peru with convenient connections from cities in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The route will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity for 174 passengers, offering a total of 52,600 seats per year.
Director of Tourism Donovan White said this new service by LATAM Airlines is yet another exciting achievement for Jamaica as the country seeks to grow arrivals from Latin America.
