Main suspect in Trelawny double murder yet to be questioned

The man who was named as the main suspect in Friday's double murder in Freemans Hall, Trelawny is yet to be questioned by the police.
 
Garfield Edwards was taken into custody about 1 o'clock Saturday morning.
 
He was being sought for the killing of 50 year old Sophia Bryan and 28 year old taxi operator Courtney Daley, both of Freemans Hall.
 
Their bodies, which had stab wounds, were found by residents in a house.
 
Mr. Edwards and Ms Bryan were reportedly in a relationship which turned sour.
 
Superintendent Kirk Ricketts, head of the Trelawny Police, told RJR News that Mr. Edwards is yet to retain an attorney to facilitate a question and answer session. 
 
He has appealed to residents who may have witnessed the incident to contact the police.
