NEPA probing reported crocodile attack in Portmore

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) is investigating reports of a crocodile attack in Hellshire, Portmore, St. Catherine.
 
The incident reportedly occurred last Thursday night.
 
Olivia Anderson, Public Education and Corporate Communication Manager at NEPA, said it was reported that two swimmers were injured, however, she could not say how bad their injuries were.   
 
NEPA is urging members of the public to exercise caution in the Hellshire area and "to observe the signs that are posted in the areas that are known to be crocodile habitats."
