Orange Tree, St. Thomas residents worried as more rains expected

Residents of Orange Tree in western St. Thomas are worried that the expected rainfall this weekend may create more problems for the area.
 
The residents say they are often marooned for weeks whenever there is heavy rain.  
     
They are appealing to the authorities to erect a bridge across the Yallahs River as the original bridge was washed away by Hurricane Gilbert in 1988.  
     
The residents have erected a foot bridge which they say gets washed away during heavy rain.
