JUTC increase fleet for stat of school
The state-run Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) says it is ready for Monday's start of the new school year.
Reginald Allen, Communications Manager, says the company has expanded its fleet of buses in anticipation of the increase in passenger load.
“We are in a much better place than in previous years for the new school year to deliver the required service to both the school community and the general public. We have a fleet (of buses) that is much improved and much more efficient as most of our buses are new,” Mr. Allen said.
