Over 50 persons detained in Steer Town operation

More than 50 persons have been taken into custody in a cordon and search operation in Steer Town, St. Ann.

The operation which began early Tuesday morning involved officers drawn from Area 2 which comprises St. Ann, St. Mary and Portland.

Members of the Mobile Reserve and the Caribbean Search Centre also formed part of the team.

RJR News has been told that those brought in are being processed to see if they have been linked with any crime.
