State of Emergency expanded and extended
The State of Emergency in the Corporate Area has been extended for a month.
The Government has imposed a State of Emergency for St. Catherine.
Prime Minister Bruce Golding announced in Parliament on Tuesday afternoon that the State of Emergency will come into effect as of midnight Tuesday night for a period of one month.
Mr. Golding also announced that the State of Emergency for Kingston and St. Andrew will be extended for another month.
Parliamentarians are now debating a resolution brought by Mr. Golding for the imposition of the State of Emergency in St. Catherine as well as the extension for Kingston and St. Andrew.
The State of Emergency in the Corporate Area has been extended for a month.

It is about time, and should expanded to other parishes also but this is a big step in the right direction to rid the country of criminals.
