More vigils to come
The People's National Party Youth Organization (PNPYO) has organised two more candle light vigils as part of the second phase of its series of protests against the Bruce Golding administration and its failure to provide full disclosure on the Manatt Affair.
The group Monday night announced that the events will take place starting next week, the first in Westmoreland.
The venue has not been made public.
Scores of persons turned out for the first vigil which was held in front of the Paul Bogle Statue in Morant Bay, St. Thomas Monday night.
Damion Crawford, PNPYO President described it as a success.
“We estimated that about 95 to 100 persons were at the vigil. The next one will be in Westmoreland and we’re also contemplating hosting others in St. Ann and in St. Mary” he said.
