PNP aspirants for East Portland come forward
Three People's National Party (PNP) aspirants are vying for the East Portland constituency as sitting Member of Parliament, Dr. Donald Rhodd, takes a break from representational politics.
The three: Dr. Lynvale Bloomfield, Dr. Dennis Minott and Wayne McKenzie, were introduced to constituents at the Port Antonio High School, Sunday.
In his final speech to his constituents, Dr. Rhodd thanked them for their support and vowed to continue to serve party and country.
He said he was stepping down to tend to pressing family commitments.
PNP Deputy General Secretary, Julian Robinson, thanked Dr. Rhodd for his commitment and service and encouraged the aspirants and supporters to be united and respect each other as the party decides who will succeed him.
