Taxpayers not footing JLP bill – Simpson-Miller
Opposition Leader, Portia Simpson-Miller, has declared that the People's National Party (PNP) is also taking to the roads to speak to grass roots Jamaicans, about the latest developments in the Manatt, Phelps and Phillips saga.
Mrs. Simpson-Miller, who was speaking at the party's North-West St. James constituency conference Saturday night, said the Opposition will be going toe to toe with the ruling party in its proposed quest to speak to Jamaicans on the controversy.
She also had a warning for the Jamaica Labour Party regarding how its tour will be funded.
“Bruce, do not use tax payers money to go around the country for what you claim is a party JLP matter. Taxpayers must not pick up the cost of you troubling the country,” Mrs. Simpson-Miller said.
