Another Bullet upsets Will In Charge and She's A Maneater

The 27-1 shot Another Bullet created a massive upset at 27-1 at Caymanas Park on Saturday in landing the feature Lady Geeta Trophy for Grade 1 horses going over 6 furlongs. The 4-5 favourite Will In Charge got the perfect break but, it was Caribbean Sprint champion Chace The Great that led for more than five furlongs before he was challenged by a fast finishing Another Bullet.

Ridden by apprentice Reyan Lewis and trained by Patrick "Wacky" Lynch, the 7 year old bay horse won by three quarter lengths in a very fast 1 minute, 11 and three fifths, just 2-hundredths of a second outside the stakes record. Chace The Great, Will In Charge and She’s A Maneater completed the frame.

Apprentices Christopher Mamdeen, Raddesh Roman and Kiaman McGregor along with trainer Errol Waugh all had a double. Racing continues on Easter Monday.
