Carter looks to shine at 2011 world champs
Nesta Carter.
The fourth fastest man in the world, Jamaica Nesta Carter says he has high hopes for the 2011 World Athletic Championship in London, England.
Carter says though he is not aiming to make anyone worried he will be in the mix with the top three of compatriots Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell and American Tyson Gay next season.
“It’s a competitive year coming up, so we’re going to go out there and hove some fun … put in the work and see what happens,” he said.
Carter posted a personal best and fourth fastest time ever of 9.78 seconds for the 100 metres at the Rieti Grand Prix in Italy on August 29.
