Former West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul has been appointed interim assistant coach of the Guyana Jaguars team in the regional 4-day competition. Chanderpaul's appointment comes following the ascendency of outgoing head coach Esuan Crandon to the post of West Indies assistant coach.
The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) in a release, informed that Chanderoaul would be assistant to Rayon Griffith who has been elevated to the rank of head coach of the Jaguars. The Jaguars who are defending champions, are currently leading the regional 4-day table with 80.2 points.
