Jamaica to host Regional One Day tournament
President of the Jamaica Cricket Association Paul Campbell confirmed on Thursday that Jamaica has won the right to host the Regional One Day tournament set for October.
The Combined Campuses team as well as a team from the newly established Sagicor High-performance Training Centre will be among the eight teams competing for the trophy.
Campbell says his executive is working with the West Indies Cricket Board to minimise the cost of hosting the tournament.
It is understood that matches will be staged at WICB certified grounds Sabina Park, Chedwin Park and the Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium, while Kensington Park, Police Sports Club and melbourne oval will serve as practice venues.
