The first tour match between the English and the Cricket West Indies President’s X1 ended in a draw on Wednesday at the Three W's Oval in Barbados. After the visitors were bowled out for 317 on day one, the President’s X1 were skittled out for 128 inside 56 overs. Batting again the President’s X1 reached 203-9 when play was called off.
Guyanese Vishaul Singh top scored with 35. The English duo of James Anderson and Stuart Broad took four wickets each. Broad took a hat-trick in the second innings reply from the Caribbean men. The English will play the President’s X1 eleven in another two game starting on Thursday at the same venue.
