Tivoli secures former Rivoli United striker
Four-time Premier League Champions, Tivoli Gardens, has won the race to sign ace striker Devon Hodges from demoted Rivoli United.
Portmore United was also in the running to sign the burly striker, who topped the Digicel Premier League scoring table for the last two seasons.
President of Tivoli FC, former Prime Minister Edward Seaga, told RJR Sports that the loan deal for Hodges was hastily signed on Friday.
Hodges, who returned to Jamaica on Tuesday after a three-week trial stint in Vietnam, is elated with his move to Tivoli.
Mr. Seaga declined to give details of the loan deal, only saying it was more than one season.
