Gordon makes winning start as Humble Lion coach

Merron Gordon made a winning start as the newly-appointed coach of Humble Lion as the Clarendon-based outfit clipped former champions Montego Bay United 1-0 in their rescheduled Red Stripe Premier League contest at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Thursday.

It was Jermaine Christian's penalty kick in the 89th minute that secured all three points for Humble Lion. Humble Lion have now moved up from tenth to joint eighth with Harbour View on 13 points.
