Fast bowler Reynard Leveridge has been called in to replace Oshane Thomas in the Jamaica Scorpions squad for the ongoing regional Super50 tournament. Thomas will leave the Scorpions squad for India after being selected for the West Indies 50 over and Twenty20 Series.
It's understood that Leveridge was originally selected for the West Indies 'B' team. Leveridge will be making his second appearance in the Super50 tournament following his 2017 stint where the Scorpions lost to Barbados in the final. He has taken 9 wickets in as many List 'A' games at an average of 30.66 with a best of 3 for 38.
