Mount Pleasant lose second game at CONCACAF U13 Champs

Mount Pleasant lost back to back games in the CONCACAF Under-13 Champions League after a 3-1 loss to Plaza Amador of Panama in Toluca, Mexico on Thursday. This result follows up with their 4-1 loss to Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC from Wednesday. Head coach of Mount Pleasant's U-13 team Vanie Vlarke says despite the loss, he sees improvements in the team.

In the other group game on the day, Los Angeles FC defeated Mexican club Cantera Yucatan 4-1. Mount Pleasant will close out the group stages on Friday against Mexican club Yucatan. Despite missing out on a chance to get to the quarter-finals of the tournament, Mount Pleasant will now turn their attention to the shield after their game against Yucatan. Coach Clarke says he is seeking a victory to give his team some momentum heading into the shield.
