Netball Jamaica to advertise for Sunshine Girls coach

With Jamaica’s senior Sunshine Girls without a head coach for over a month, Netball Jamaica will make the position open for public application this weekend. The announcement was made on Monday by Netball Jamaica president Dr Paula Daley-Morris who was speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Girls Sports Club.

“We have policies and processes that we follow so one of the first things we’ll have to do is advertise that post. The ad will be coming out in this weekend’s papers. I’m looking for the candidate that demonstrates the best ability to do the job,” said Dr Daley-Morris.

The senior Sunchine Girls have been without a head coach since Minneth Reynolds tendered her resignation in early December.

Dr Daley-Morris says that the position is open to both male and female coaches, once they have the required qualifications.
