Replacement athletes identified for Jamaica's Commonwealth Games team

Head of Delegation for Jamaica's team to the Commonwealth Games Dalton Myers says athletes have already been identified as replacements in case of injuries ahead of the April 4-15 multi- sport event in Gold Coast Australia.
While not wanting to give any names, Myers says the committee will now have to go through a process in naming the replacements.

Jamaica has named a 150 member team to compete across 15 sports in Australia, by far the largest ever contingent, but Myers says adequate support staff has been named to address the needs of the athletes. Myers was speaking following an athletes send-off ceremony hosted by the Jamaica Olympic Association at their headquarters on Friday.
