The Jamaica Scorpions bowlers have given the team a chance of winning their first game in the regional 4 day competition following close of play on Saturday’s third day of their encounter against the Windward Island Volcanoes in Grenada. The Volcanoes closed on 198- 9 in their second innings, a lead of 211 runs entering Sunday's fourth and final day.
Dennis Bulli followed up his first innings haul of 5 wickets with 4-54 while Chadwick Walton has supported with 2-10. Kavem Hodge is the Volcanoes' top scorer so far with 52. Earlier, the Scorpions resuming on 212-4, 73 runs behind the hosts, were dismissed for 272. Walton added 12 to his overnight 113 to top-score with 125. Brandon King made 52 on day two, while Derval Green 24 and Kenroy Williams 21, had useful contributions. Larry Edwards ended with 4-79.
