Stalemate between Arnett, Mobay United

Arnett Gardens has failed in another bid to beat  defending champion Montego Bay United in the clubs' three meetings so far this Red Stripe Premier League football season, after being held to 1-1 draw at home on Sunday evening.

Arnett actually went ahead through Andrew Phang in the 38th minute, and looked on course for victory before Dino Williams converted a 90th minute penalty to help Mobay earn a share of the spoils.

Despite the draw, Arnett remains atop the table with 52 points, while Mobay United moved to 46 points, but stay third, behind Waterhouse.

Waterhouse, with a double from Jermaine 'Tuffy' Anderson, beat Sporting Central Academy 3-1 at the Juici Patties complex.

This result has taken Waterhouse to 47 points, while Sporting remains in 10th, just above the relegation zone.

Fourth placed Humble Lion secured a 1-0 away win over Tivoli Gardens at Edward Seaga Stadium to move to 41 points. Tivoli remains 5th on 38 points, but not comfortably so, with Harbour View having blanked bottom placed Barbican 2-0 at home to also be on 38 points.

Reno ended a six game winless run with a 2-1 victory over Rivoli United.

Cavalier and Boys Town will square off this evening at Stadium East, starting at 8:30. Live coverage will be provided by TVJ.
