Supreme Soul finishes down the track in Caribbean Classic

Triple Crown winner Supreme Soul failed to make the frame and finished down the track in Sunday's Caribbean Classic over 9 furlongs at Gulfstream Park in Florida. The Anthony "Baba" Nunes-trained bay colt who went off at 35-1 in the 11 horse field, missed the break and ended up 8th under Venezuelan Jockey Jairo Rendon.

The race which had a purse of US $300,000, was won by the longest shot in the field, The Brother Slew from Venezuela at 35-1 with Mexican jockey Paco Lopez aboard. The Brother Slew had to survive a Stewards’ Enquiry.
