Members of Jamaica's Under- 20 men's squad are calling on the Jamaica Football Federation to keep the unit together for future events including World Cup qualifying. The team barely missed out on qualifying for the final round of the CONCACAF Championship after finishing second to Mexico on goal difference in the group stage in Florida last week.
Defender Jamoi Topey and midfielder Tyreek Magee were among the top-scorers for Jamaica in the tournament with four and three goals respectively. They feel members of the squad can bring Jamaica success at the senior level in the near future.
