The United States on Wednesday submitted extradition requests for seven officals of world football's governing body, Fifa, arrested on corruption charges in May.
The seven top executives are among 14 current and former Fifa officials indicted on charges of systemic corruption.
There will be a hearing over the extradition requests and the officials will have 14 days to respond.
The formal extraditions were expected, this week.
Caymanian, Jeffrey Webb, a Fifa vice-president, who was in Zurich in May, is among the seven facing extradition.
Earlier this week the US Embassy denied reports that a request had been made to the Government of Trinidad & Tobago, for former Vice President Austin Jack Warner, who is also charged in the corruption probe.
