Former president of CONCACAF Jeffrey Webb has lost his appeal against a US $1 million fine imposed on him by the FIFA Ethics Committee due to actions of money laundering and wire fraud. The Caymanian will have to wait until September of this year for his sentencing.
The 53 year old has also received a lifetime ban from the sport of football both at the international level with FIFA and locally with the Cayman Islands Football Association. Webb was president of CONCACAF for three years and five days which took place from May of 2012 to May of 2015.
