The West Indies 'A' lost the three-match unofficial test series against Sri Lanka 'A' 0-1, after the 3rd match ended in a draw on the 4th and final day in Moratuwa.
Chasing 217 to win, Sri Lanka 'A' had reached 166-5 when the umpires ended the match.
Lahiru Thirimane was 57 not out for the Sri Lanka 'A' who had won the first match.
Shannon Gabriel took 2-36 and Devendra Bishoo 2-71.
The West Indians had been dismissed for 234 in their 2nd innings after resuming on 183-3.
Jonathan Carter carried on to 78 from his overnight 69 while fellow overnight batsman Andre Fletcher made 66, after he had resumed on 36.
The pair shared in a 4th wicket stand of 120..
Tharindu Kaushal took 5-78 and Chaturanga Silva 4-57.
The teams will commence a three-match one-day series on November 1.
