West Indies 'A' tighten grip against Sri Lanka 'A'

The West Indies 'A' team reached a respectable 364-8 in their first innings against their Sri Lankan counterparts when rain ended play on Thursday’s second day of the first unofficial four-day test at the Trelawny Stadium. The Windies ‘A’ had  resumed their first innings on 236-4.

Sunil Ambris carried on to 106 from his overnight 62 while sharing a fifth wicket partnership of 135 with Vishaul Singh who made 81 after he had resumed on 58. Jamaica's Damion Jacobs  also made 15 and Rahkeem Cornwall 36.

Left arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara has been the pick of the Sri Lanka ‘A’ bowlers with 3- 104, while Chamika Karunaratne has taken 2-61.
