Windies aim to beat Scotland for place at 2019 ICC World Cup

A place at next year’s ICC World Cup will be at stake when the West Indies tackle Scotland in their final Super Six match at the Harare Stadium in Zimbabwe on Wednesday morning Jamaica time. A win for either team will seal their spot in the showpiece event in England next summer.

The West Indies enter the game as favourites having won five of their six games played in the qualifiers, while sitting at the top of the Supers Six points table with six points one ahead of their opponent. The Scotts on the other hand, finished with same number of points as the hosts Zimbabwe but with an inferior net run-rate, taking second in Group ‘B’ of the preliminaries.
