Leneka Rhodon takes Miss Kingston and St. Andrew crown

Leneka Rhodon emerged the winner of the Miss Kingston and St. Andrew Coronation show that was held on Sunday night at the Louise Bennett Theatre.
 
The night saw nine talented and poised contestants battle for the parish crown with the winner advancing to the national competition to be held in August.
 
Along with the crown, Rhodon walked away with awards for Most Congenial, Most Involved in her Community and Most Culturally Aware.
 
Melissa Vassell, who placed second, was awarded Most Poised and Best Talent Piece. Her drama titled, Ms Shields was a play on popular RJR94FM talk show Hotline with host Emily shields. 
 
Third place went to Ashley Graham.
 
Entertainment came from the Laud Dance Ministry, 2016 Digicel Rising Stars Winner Elton Earlington and Reggae singer Alaine. 
 
The event being spearheaded by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) was hosted by Lij Tafari and Dadrian Gordon.
